Once upon a time…
There was a writer who was literally thrust into search engine optimization. Over time, she learned that not only did she like search engine marketing work, but she was really good at it. After a few friends had asked for SEO advice, she started to think that maybe she could run her own SEO business. She snagged a couple of clients, partnered with a couple of web designers for SEO work, and then started to fully operate a business.
And thus, Warkhammer LLC was born.
The Protagonist
The protagonist in this regaling tale is me, Keri Honea. I am a writer who has been morphed into honing webcrafting skills. Technically, I’ve been building and writing websites since 2002, but those early sites were solid, 100% HTML direct coding. They don’t exist anymore, thank God, so there’s no proof of how ugly those were. Obviously, while I still know HTML code like a second language, I’ve refined my web building skills into something far more Web 2.0.
I know how to build websites, but I no longer offer those services. With those skills, however, be rest assured I know how to add copy to websites, keep the design format, etc.
In addition to running Warkhammer LLC, I write and manage StrategyGuideReviews.com, I’m an avid podcaster, and I’m a yoga teacher.
Does this mean I do not have time for you? PERISH THE THOUGHT.
When you hire me, you receive the full amount of attention that any of my other contracting jobs receives. In fact, since you are hiring me directly, you will in fact get more attention. I left a couple of my contracting gigs so I could focus on Warkhammer and my wonderful clients. I know that your website is your marketing link for your small business, and while money is a large factor, time is always of the essence. You can trust that any project you hire me for will be done in a very timely manner.
So where did “Warkhammer” come from?
I purchased the domain warkhammer.com a long time ago, back when I was writing a game review for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. Every time I typed “warhammer,” I always misspelled it as “warkhammer” without fail. I started to like how it sounded so much that I bought the domain just because I liked it. When it was time to develop my own web business for SEO services, Warkhammer felt absolutely perfect.
